IASS - Information and Support Services in St Helens

St Helens IASS provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their parents/carers.  The service covers all aspects of Education, Social Care and Health related to SEND.

A child/young person does not need a formal diagnosis; we can help if you feel there is a Special Educational Need.

We offer drop-in sessions for parents and carers. These drop in sessions supporting families with SEND allow parents and carers to get on the day advice which can sometimes be quicker than making contact via phone. Please see leaflets below.
