Pupils at Willow Bank school will join millions of people across the UK learning about the impact of road crashes and celebrating the work of people who support after a road crash, during this year’s Road Safety Week.
Organised by Brake, the road safety charity, Road Safety Week 2024 runs from 17–23 November, beginning with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday 17 November.
Pupils from Willow Bank school will be using the free resources provided by Brake to learn about road safety in class, in assembly and at home.

#Videos to discuss section https://www.brake.org.uk/road-safety-week/activities-for-secondary-schools Warning: Some of these films contain content that some viewers may find distressing. Please make sure films are suitable before showing to your child.
The theme is Road Safety Heroes, celebrating the incredible work of the NHS, police, emergency services and others who support people following a road crash. Lessons, discussions, activities, games and videos will teach the children important road safety messages and help them understand how they can be Road Safety Heroes too.
