Willow Bank have invested in two corridor wall murals to our KS3 corridor and within the PE department. The art department and other staff spent time to develop ideas, design the overall layout and to ensure they have a positive message for our whole school community. A huge thank you to HD Wraps who took all the information and ideas and created bespoke designs to meet our exact requirements/specification. They installed the designs and were extremely professional throughout.

The KS3 corridor has focused on Neurodiversity awareness to highlight the importance of embracing and recognising diversity in education. We have numerous pupils who are neurodiverse and as a school of inclusivity and positivity we wanted to create a mural to reflect this. Our mural features an umbrella which reflects that neurodiversity is an umbrella term to reflect the many learning differences that people can have. In addition it features our Willow Bank Way acrostic poem which has been created to inspire and motivate pupils on a daily and weekly basis. Finally it features our school motto of 'Learn, Grow, Achieve Together'.
The PE mural was created to further reflect our school ethos of working together, celebrating success and recognising a range of sporting achievements. We wanted to reflect diversity in sports with an edgier style to suit our older pupils.
