KS4 pupils visited Awesome Walls in Liverpool as part of their Outdoor Education and PE. Pupils focused on safety, tying knots and belaying techniques to scale the climbing wall whilst developing their communication and gross motor skills.

Key Stage 4 pupils focusing on their sense of balance and confidence at Awesome Walls in Liverpool. Developing sustained use of hands and legs to support the climber's balance and weight allowing them to traverse the climbing wall overhang during Outdoor Education.

Year 6 pupils visited Awesome Walls in Liverpool as part of their Outdoor Education. Pupils focused on planning a route to scale the climbing wall whilst developing their strength and balance.
Year 7 pupils visited Tenpin Bowling in Warrington as part of their Outdoor Education. Pupils focused on
- understanding the basic rules
- how to hold the bowling ball
- preparing your wrists
- throwing the ball to gain the maximum effect of knocking down all 10 pins
KS4 visited Awesome Walls in Liverpool to learn how to belay, a technique used by climbers to create friction using ropes to allow a climber to climb safely. Pupils developed their teamwork and verbal communication skills helping each other to climb the indoor wall.
Year 10 pupils visited Awesome Walls Liverpool to learn how to use less energy and how to give their muscles a break as they climb. Pupils also discussed how to improve their physical fitness and manage the challenges the wall presents to build their confidence.
