Year 11 have been learning about the structure of the heart this week as part of their 'Human Body' topic. Today they have carried out a dissection and used their knowledge to identify the chambers (atria and ventricles), and the main vessels (aorta, pulmonary vein, pulmonary artery and vena cava).
