Key stage 2 pupils made Fairy Cakes focusing on taking turns, sharing ideas and working together as a team. Pupils also developed their organisation skills by following the recipe instructions and fine motor skills using the equipment.

Year 6 pupils visited Awesome Walls in Liverpool as part of their Outdoor Education. Pupils focused on planning a route to scale the climbing wall whilst developing their strength and balance.

KS2 pupils during PSD played 'Steal or Split' and then discussed honesty and trust and why they think it is important quality to have. Pupils then watched real life examples and said whether they thought the person was being honest or dishonest and what the impact is.

KS4 visited Awesome Walls in Liverpool to learn how to belay, a technique used by climbers to create friction using ropes to allow a climber to climb safely. Pupils developed their teamwork and verbal communication skills helping each other to climb the indoor wall.

KS3 Geography Relief Maps
KS3 pupils made their own relief maps in Geography. Pupils investigated what relief is (shape, height and steepness) and how it is shown on map. Pupils also developed their key terms and understanding of topography and contour lines.
KS4 Chicken & Bacon Wraps
KS4 pupils made chicken, cheese and bacon wraps as a part of their Home Cooking Skills BTEC. Pupils had to rely on skills from previous lessons to complete as much of the task as they could independently.
KS3 Enterprise Visit McDonalds
KS3 pupils visited McDonalds as part of their enterprise challenge to see first hand how a business operates from customer service to food operations. This then allowed pupils to evaluate the food enterprise challenge they completed last term.
Year 10 Awesome Wall Climbing
Year 10 pupils visited Awesome Walls Liverpool to learn how to use less energy and how to give their muscles a break as they climb. Pupils also discussed how to improve their physical fitness and manage the challenges the wall presents to build their confidence.
